Rabi Ul Awal is Combination of two words Rabi and Al-Awal. Rabi ul Awal is Arabic word which have the meaning of “The First Spring”. Rabi mean (Spring) and Al-Awal mean (First).
Rabi Ul Awal is third Islamic month. This month is more special in Muslim Ummah because They blessed with Birth of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
During this month Majority of Muslim Celebrtae the birth of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) with recite of quran, Darood Pak Mahfil’s and with addressing of Prophet (SAW) Life styles. How Holy Prophet (SAW) lived his life and change the nature of man. In Pakistan These celebration is known as Mailad.
Although the accurate date of Milad is unknown, Its idea of many muslims that Holy Prophet born on 12th of Rabi Ul Awal. Muslims who perform their Religous obligations with Sunni faith says that 12th of Rabi AL Awal Holy Prophet (SAW) born. Although many history researchers and scholars does not agree with the exact date of Muhammad Muhammad (SAW) birth, So due to this uncertainty and unclarity, some Muslims Celebrate Holy Prophet Birth Day on 12th and Some Celebrate the Birth on 17th of Rabi Ul Awal.
One thing which is common in all Muslims is that Allah the Creator of All things Blessed us the birth of Holy Prophet (SAW) in this month.
Muslims celebrate this month in different ways. Some celebrate from 12-17 Rabi Ul Awal, Some celebrate whole month and some only 12th of Rabi ul Awal celebrate with green color flags, dispersing flowers on others, by distributing drinks and sweets in this day.
